How I write Mapiola’s articles

Every article starts from information anyone can check, is organised and translated with the help of artificial intelligence tools, and then I go over it. No place to stay pays to appear on Mapiola or for how it is described.

Where the information comes from

I always start from facts anyone can check: where the place is, the services it advertises, its photos and what guests say in their public reviews. If something isn’t clear, I leave it out.

How I use artificial intelligence

I use artificial intelligence tools to organise all that information, write a first draft and translate it into the site’s four languages. Then I go over the articles, and when I have something of my own to say about a place, I add it.

Reviews, good and bad

If guests keep raising the same complaint about a place, I mention it. An article that only says nice things won’t help you decide.

Corrections

If you spot something wrong or out of date, write to me and I’ll fix it. Every article shows the date it was last genuinely updated.

Who pays for Mapiola

No place to stay pays to appear here or for how it is described. The site is funded through affiliate links, and that doesn’t change what I write.
