Privacy policy
Mapiola collects very little data. There are no forms, no sign-up and no cookies. This page explains exactly what is handled when you visit the site or send an email.
Data controller
Javier Marín Bernal, NIF ES77759458T, Camino de Murcia, 91, 30530 Cieza (Murcia), Spain. Email hola@mapiola.com.
When you visit the site
To count visits, the server records the page viewed, the date, the type of device, the approximate country, the website you came from and, if you arrived through one of the domains that redirect to Mapiola, which one. Your IP address isn’t stored in these statistics. Together with your browser details it is turned into a code that changes every day, so you can’t be followed from one day to the next or identified. The country is worked out on the server itself, without sending your IP to anyone.
This detailed record is deleted after 90 days. After that only daily totals remain, with no visitor code at all.
Like any web server, the one hosting Mapiola also keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested, date and browser) to spot faults and attacks. They are deleted automatically after 14 days.
The legal basis is Mapiola’s legitimate interest in knowing which content is read and in keeping the site secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you tap a booking button
The click is recorded just like a visit, with the same daily code and without your IP, to see which places people are interested in. You then move on to the platform’s website, which handles your data under its own privacy policy.
When you send an email
If you write to hola@mapiola.com, your address and whatever you tell us are used only to reply. Emails are kept while the conversation lasts and for one year afterwards at most. The legal basis is dealing with your request (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its use, or ask for a portable copy by writing to hola@mapiola.com.
