What Mapiola is

Mapiola is a travel blog that describes places to stay independently. It isn’t the official website of any of them, and it doesn’t sell stays or handle bookings. Some buttons lead to booking platforms that Mapiola has affiliate agreements with, as explained in affiliate links.

Using the site

Mapiola is free to use and needs no sign-up. Visitors agree to use it lawfully and not to try to disrupt how it works.

Accuracy of the information

The details on each place come from public sources and are checked carefully, but they can change without notice. Before booking, check the price, availability and conditions on the platform or with the place itself. If you spot a mistake, write to hola@mapiola.com and it will be fixed.

Intellectual property

The texts, design, logo and name of Mapiola belong to its owner and may not be reproduced without permission. The photos of each place belong to their owners and are shown only to illustrate the article about it. If you own an image and want it removed, write to hola@mapiola.com and it will be taken down.

Links to other websites

Mapiola links to booking platforms and other websites it doesn’t control. Their content, prices and terms are their own responsibility.
