One guest puts it plainly: you need a car to reach the sea, but it only takes a few minutes. For other destinations, the listing gives Secca di Castrocucco at 34 km, Praja Ajeta Tortora station at 29 km and the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola at 44 km. Lamezia Terme airport is about 104 km away.

I would choose it for couples and families with a car who want calm without giving up comfort and good cooking. It is not the right choice if you want to walk out of the door and be on the beach, or if you enjoy the bustle of a town centre.
As a base for the Calabrian Tyrrhenian coast it works well, because from there you can organise trips to Castrocucco, Praia a Mare and San Francesco di Paola.
