Voiles et TerrAsses in Le Tréport, apartments facing the marina

Voiles et TerrAsses by Corinne is an apartment residence facing the marina in Le Tréport, Normandy, with kitchenettes and a quiet garden side. Reviews are very mixed. I see it for a short self-catering stay, as long as you check the conditions carefully before booking.
Mapiola is a travel blog: this is not the official website of Voiles et TerrAsses by Corinne. Residence face au Port.
Where Voiles et TerrAsses is and how to get there
Voiles et TerrAsses by Corinne is on Quai Sadi Carnot, facing the marina in Le Tréport. Its location is its best selling point. Guests mention the tourist office just opposite, the shops, the restaurants, the market square and the fishmonger all within a few steps, and the beach is not far away.
Parking is the thing to plan ahead for. One guest says it is not easy to find a space during the day and that he was tipped off about a free car park nearby. Ask for the address when you book.
What the apartments are like
The residence offers rooms and small apartments with a fitted kitchenette, with microwave, hob, fridge, toaster and coffee machine. Each unit has a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV, and some have a terrace or a lounge corner. Wi-Fi is included.
- Garden side. According to several guests, this is the better option. It is very quiet, with a balcony or small terrace where you can have breakfast outside.
- Harbour side. Some units look out over the marina, right up to the bathroom window. There is more life here, but also more bustle.
- The bedding. Guests talk about good beds, very decent sheets and mattresses, and towels provided.
- Little extras. One guest found water, instant coffee, salt, pepper and shampoo, although another regrets the lack of shower gel.
What guests say
Most reviews are very good. They talk about clean, bright, well-equipped apartments, quiet on the garden side and practical for cooking your own meals. Several praise a charming host who replies quickly, and a key collection system using a code box that is clear and well explained.
Some guests come back year after year and recommend the place without hesitation. Being in the town centre, near the harbour, is the thing most often highlighted, with breakfast on the balcony as a bonus.
Recent reviews, however, are less kind. Three guests gave the lowest score, with serious complaints. They mention a cold apartment, doubtful cleanliness, a booked apartment that was no longer available on arrival, a disputed charge with no refund, and a host who could not be reached. Another guest talks about a code box that did not work and a long wait outside. I cannot verify these accounts, but their number and seriousness matter.
What to know before you book
Voiles et TerrAsses is an address with two faces. The Google rating is 4 from 118 reviews, and it hides a real gap between stays that go well and those that go badly.
| What guests like | What worries |
|---|---|
| Location facing the marina, close to shops | Parking is difficult during the day |
| Equipped kitchenette and private bathroom | Radiators hard to adjust, according to two guests |
| Quiet garden side, with balcony or terrace | Cleanliness heavily criticised in recent reviews |
| Self check-in with a key code box | Host hard to reach, according to several negative reviews |
My advice is simple. Confirm your booking in writing, ask for the code box in advance and check the heating if you are coming in cooler weather. Keep a record of what you have paid too.
Who I recommend it to
I would see it working for a couple or a pair of friends who want a short, independent stay, with the option to cook, right in the heart of Le Tréport. The garden side suits those who want calm, and the harbour side suits those who enjoy a bit of activity.
I would not recommend it to anyone who needs in-person reception, an open front desk or cleanliness without any reservations. In that case, a standard hotel is the better choice.
What to do in Le Tréport and nearby
From the residence you can walk or cycle along the quays and the cliffs. Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Le Crotoy are close by, and Dieppe is also reachable for a day trip. For those arriving by air, Paris-Beauvais airport is the most convenient gateway.
If you want to continue in Normandy, see also Chez Mounie in Arromanches-les-Bains or L'Espace Privé in Rouen. I can only tell you more than their name and town, but they are two ideas for stops in the region.
